Eventful Week gone by

The last week (mainly later part) was an eventful one..so many headlines filling our newsbox daily (or hourly?) that I guess, many of us were glued in front of the TV set.
(1) It was first the Narmada Bachao andolan..as Medha Patkars' team and Govt. entangled in an seeminly un-ending dispute, the Gujarat CM has added a new twist into the drama, with his 51-hr hunger strike. Finally both Ms. Medha and Mr.Modi had to melt down with lime juices quenching their hunger.
(2) Then it was a shock from US as they announced the recent nuclear cooperation understanding with India stands void if India tests a nuclear bomb, which India, within no time opposed saying that it is indeed solely our decision  whether we will carry out an nuclear test or not.The chinese President Hu Jintao was just to land in USA at that time. Was that announcement another way to please China?
(3) Then the news from accross the border, where Nepal is slowly inching towards democracy , as the Nepal king finally agreed to offer for a democratic alliance to work as the administration of the country under turmoil. Though there still no concensus has been reached on Kings' offer, may be more liberate offers from King to follow in coming days.
(4) Then the news was about famous Hindi film playback singer Udit Narayan, and albeit his first wife. Ms. Ranjana Narayan (Jha) of  Bihar has been claiming since long that Udit is married to her and as he has been in Mumbai for his career and successful with it, he has betrayed her by not accepting her as legal wife. Udit recently was in Patna, where, Ms. Ranjana, called all reporters and pressmen, and forcefully wanted to enter the hotel room where Udit was lodged with his  present wife Deepa. It was an embarrassing moment for the singer, and if all the claims from Ms. Ranjana have to be believed and tetstified true, the singer will be in big soup, if his polygamy is proved.
(5) Finally it was about death and near death-- senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajn shot by his younger brother Pravin at Mumbai, and struggling for life at this moment. The entire nation was shocked to hear this cruel deed, to see how a brother can be a curse for life. Meanwhile the next day, there was another news of suicide of a film personalitys' wife, in Mumbai. Navin Nischals' wife committed suicide, thus leaving the week that just ended, a disastrous one.
