Come Friday in the week and you smell a new escence, called Weekends. The two days after five terrific days feel so cool and romantic. In fact on fridays, many of the people in the offices start leaving half day, in case they have nice boss unlike me. My Boss is 'Weekend ka dushman' , similar to p.k.d. (pyar ka dushmans). Whole of the week the space of work is good (though sometimes hectic, but still manageable with cups of coffee and fags), as soon as it is friday after lunch, he comes over with a bundle of assignements, he says just now "Client want this to be done ASAP"..seems like the dirty client in the foreign country works on friday only and enjoys all other days in his week as weekends. So, what else, work or get lost.. there is no other way..

Now let us see the good sides of weekend...let's not spoil the issue discussing about nonsense people. Weekend for different people mean different things. For ordinary people with one kid and one wife (like me ) weekend means visiting Foodworld / Trinethra super markets on saturday morning, taking the kid to paining/swimming class in the afternoon, and the family to a buffet dinner in the evening. Sunday morning starts with idly-wala, then visit to a fish or chicken (nowadays  lesser trips, thanks to bird flue) or mutton shop..cook or help preparing lunch..and in the evening baby-sit the kid. For lovers (with out wife and kid)  weekend starts with SMS..Hi, GM, hw r u? Love...your's only..etc. etc. Then after some exhaustive work at home whole day, meet in the evening in some park or in Barista or in Coffee Cafe day..spend one third of money drawn yesterday from ATM. For some clever people weekend means sleeping whole day and night, wake up in the afternoon to take bath and have food and in the evening to drink a cup of tea/coffee. They compensate their sleep that missed whole week in two days (Hard working??). Finally, one of my apartment uncle spends weekend in a typical way, he will go to office on weekends, but will come back early on week days (he has a very good boss). When asked, why you do that, he replies 'this is called balancing act...it is better go to office and sleep in AC rather then boil in home and run here and there once your aunti shouts'.
